Property Description: Fourteen Foot Bank Lighthouse
The lighthouse is a 3 story cast iron tower topped by a lantern and a upper gallery deck. The tower rests on a black trumpet shaped iron caisson lined with concrete. The lighthouse includes a keepers quarters, fuel storage area and a lantern room. The lighthouse was constructed in 1876. Located in Delaware Bay approximately 3 miles offshore of Bowers Beach, Delaware. Bowers Beach is approximately 10 miles southeast of Dover, Delaware.

I look forward to seeing how high it goes and hopefully to who buys it! Can you imagine - CAST IRON WALLS now that is some serious siding!!!
Personally, I think it is easily worth three times this ammount and could easily bring $300,000 as that is less than the cost of a nice cottage on the smallest possible waterfront lot…
What a cool place to go for a vacation cottage!!! Or… as a hideaway, hard to beat. What great fun it would be to organize, furnish, stock and make it PREPARED for storms and such! If I had the money I could easily have it as my second home and use it frequently for my reading, writing and research; which is most of what I do!
